The psychological meaning of anxieties & phobias

by | Jun 10, 2022 | Head-body scheme, Mind, Symptom Language

In this article, we will decipher the psychological meaning of anxieties/phobias according to the understanding of Antonie Peppler, the founder of Creative Homeopathy, and her research on symptom language.

From her understanding, “symptom language” is a form of somatic communication—the “soma” respectively the “material body” expresses a pathology that is related to an inner psychological disharmony that the person is not consciously aware of. Thus, we composed a list of two common anxieties/phobias and their related homeopathic remedies that respond to the associated internal condition.

The psychology behind anxieties and phobias

Anxieties describe situations in which the personality differentiates itself negatively from others. She is ashamed of being who she is and compensates for her lack of belonging by seeking and portraying her weaknesses. Compared with others, he wants to appear weak and negative to gain support. This support corresponds to an apparent but unsatisfactory belonging to a group. The greater the dichotomy with the environment is felt, the greater the anxiety. The courage to stand by oneself and be honest with oneself must be learned.
